How wide should my snowboard be?

How wide should my snowboard be?

I’m trying to figure out what size my next board should be, but most look like they’re going to be too narrow. My boots are size 10 in womens, but i’m assuming they run small because i normally wear a size 9. How far can my boots hang off the board? This wouldn’t be as much of a problem if i was tall, but i’m pretty short and all the wider boards seem like they’re going to be way to big for me. Any recommendations?

hey!
unless you have size 13 womens feet

aka unless youre the female missing link

you dont need a wide board, as these are only made for size 12+ feet
and a little bit of toe drag isnt too shabby

keep it real!

Q&A: How bad is it to have bindings that are longer than my snowboard is wide?

How bad is it to have bindings that are longer than my snowboard is wide?

its like a half inch difference on both sides if the binding is setting perfectly straight on the board. i have not assembled it yet cause i have to figure out my riding stance angles. do you think this will be a major problem? having bindings that are slightly too big for my board?

no better indicator than to try it out. i LITTLE bit of toe drag is okay, but you dont want to feel it

the second you feel it, it becomes a hinderance, and then, well, you’d better kiss your focus goodbye… and your mobility

keep it real

ps. hey everyone, im back for now =P
