Do I need a wide model snowboard?
I wear a size 12.5 shoe and am looking at buying a snowboard. I am going to but a board in the 155-158cm range. Do I need a wide model snowboard?

I wear size 11 and I’m fine on an 151. Depending on the board and the angle of your bindings on the board than you may not need a wide board. I’d bring your bindings and boots to your shop and see how much toe/heel drag there is before buying a board. You probably need a wide board.

I wear a size 12.5 also and it is hard for me to find a board with the correct width. but here is a website that will really help you you input your height weight shoe size and everything and then it automatically tells you how wide and how long it should be for best riding… http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.htm .. it works really well
